Fiscalo

Terms of Service

Effective date: May 16, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Fiscalo (“Service”), operated by Fiscalo at fiscalo.app. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is intended for use by accounting firms and financial professionals (“Customers”). You represent that you have the authority to bind your firm to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Fiscalo is a B2B SaaS platform that connects to your clients' QuickBooks Online accounts via OAuth 2.0 and uses AI to surface financial insights, alerts, and health checks. Features include:

  • Accounts receivable overdue monitoring
  • Cash flow analysis
  • Revenue trend detection
  • QuickBooks health checks
  • Team member management for your firm

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts and Access

You must create an account to use Fiscalo. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at fiscalo.app@gmail.com of any unauthorised use.

Each firm account may invite team members. Firm administrators are responsible for managing team member access and ensuring compliance with these Terms by all users under their account.

4. QuickBooks Integration

Fiscalo connects to QuickBooks Online via Intuit's official OAuth 2.0 API. By connecting a QuickBooks company through Fiscalo, you confirm that:

  • You have authorisation from your client to access their QuickBooks data on their behalf
  • You will use the accessed data solely for legitimate accounting and advisory services
  • You will disconnect client accounts promptly when the engagement ends

Fiscalo is not affiliated with or endorsed by Intuit Inc. Use of the QuickBooks integration is also subject to Intuit's terms of service.

5. Subscription and Payment

Fiscalo operates on a subscription model. Plan details, pricing, and included limits (clients, team members) are presented at the time of subscription.

  • New accounts begin with a free trial period as defined at signup
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice to existing subscribers
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 7 days of a charge

Failure to maintain a valid subscription may result in suspension of access. Your data is retained for 30 days after subscription expiry before deletion.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations
  • Access client QuickBooks data without proper authorisation from the client
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service beyond normal usage
  • Share your account credentials with parties outside your firm
  • Misrepresent AI-generated insights as guaranteed financial advice

7. AI-Generated Insights

Fiscalo uses artificial intelligence (powered by the OpenAI API) to generate financial insights and alerts. These insights are informational tools to assist your professional judgement — they are not a substitute for qualified financial, accounting, or legal advice.

You remain solely responsible for any advice, decisions, or actions taken based on insights surfaced by Fiscalo. AI outputs may contain errors and should be reviewed by a qualified professional before being acted upon.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You retain ownership of your data. By using the Service, you grant Fiscalo a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the Service.

9. Intellectual Property

All software, design, trademarks, and content comprising the Fiscalo platform are owned by or licensed to Fiscalo. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You may not use the Fiscalo name or logo without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fiscalo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Fiscalo in the three months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated insights will be accurate or complete.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the integrity of the Service.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Sections 7, 9, 10, and 11 survive termination.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
